To help rebuild Delhi, solar panels on rooftops can provide a large amount of energy for a home or business. While being a source for clean energy production, many will benefit from this. The production of panels emits no harmful energy into the environment and will not harm anyone who comes in contact with it, unlike nuclear energy that most major cities run on. The city also burns coal to create energy, which leaves a harmful soot in the air. With solar panels, no harmful chemicals will be put into the environment. To help with the harmful trash problems, biodegradable products are easy to produce and will not harm the environment. If animals try to eat the biodegradable products, it won’t harm them. Plastic is common in production, and when we cut down on plastic products, like plastic bags and water bottles, the environment becomes safer for many animals and people. Recycling plants would also help to cut down on the amount of trash in landfills. To help with the deforestation, cut down on the amount of trees that can be cut down. With modern day advances in technology, trees do not even need to be cut down to produce the resources we usually create from trees.
For Egypt, citizens and officials need to encourage government-funded research projects to develop clean electric transportation methods to help reduce dependence on fossil fuels. Egypt is a heavily populated city, with much of its pollution coming from car exhaust. Converting to electric vehicles will help eliminate the production of other unwanted by-products such as sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and carbon monoxide. Carpooling can also help with the levels of carbon monoxide in the air. If schools start to educate young children early about the harmful effects of pollution, the future for them and their kids could be drastically different. By putting more money into Cairo Schools to educate on pollution, clubs and students around the city can put in an effort to change the way they and so many others live. Conserving energy can become a habit. By turning off the television and switching off unnecessary light can reduce emissions from bill coal-fired electricity plants. While windmills in Cairo are not such a great idea due to the city being located right next to a desert, solar energy is a great option here as well. With solar energy being accessible, plants that burn fossil fuels will quit putting chemicals into the atmosphere. The Nile is one of the most polluted water sources in the region. By adopting more efficient solutions to the pollution problem, such as creating low-cost systems to treat domestic drainage on a local level then re-use it for irrigation. Many companies let their industrial waste filled with cancer causing chemicals flow into the Nile. To stop this, the government needs to fine the companies, and have the fine money contribute to the installation of more solar panels and more filters to filter out pollution in the Nile.

Passive Solar Disinfection could help decrease the amounts of cholera in the water in Haiti. It’s a cheap method. While the people would have to wait for clean water, there is high sustainability. With the installation of a long lasting, country wide sanitation system, the whole country would be provided with clean, non-polluted water. By offering clean water programs in schools, schools will have access to clean water, meaning children will not be exposed to harmful bacteria. We need to make water more accessible and cheaper for the country. Much of the country is in poverty and cannot afford the clean water they need. The country suffers from extreme deforestation due to the overwhelming need of wood for people to cook. By offering wind produced energy created by windmills, installing appliances that run on the energy produced will cut down on the amount of wood needed, also decreasing the number of trees cut down. By donating money to Haiti, replanting destroyed forests could decrease the effects of soil erosion and make most of the land useful again. Clean air is only achieved by effort and everyone (yes, everyone) contributing to the cause.
Citizens of every country should walk or ride bikes whenever possible. It will help reduce air pollution, and it will also count as exercise. By using public transportation in cities, the amount of exhaust added to the air will be cut down. By offering each city more money to contribute into public transportation, the needs for individual cars will decrease. If cars are still needed, the government should help provide electric run cars to conserve energy.
